Did you know that?

Cross-country skiing is a complete sport that works all the muscles.

The muscle effort is different in the two techniques:

- in the skating technique, the buttocks, quadriceps and calves are particularly used

- in the classic technique, the shoulders, arms and back.

This sport is an excellent cardiovascular workout and the frequent exercise considerably improves the performance of the heart and lungs.

The discipline also has anti-stress effects, thanks to the environment in which it is practised.
